Taconic Boys Hand Westfield Tech First Loss

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Drew Gresser converted a penalty kick in the first half, and the Taconic boys soccer team went on to a 1-0 win over Westfield Tech on Thursday.
 
Taconic keeper Jeremiah Asenso stopped a PK in the second half to preserve the win.
 
Westfield Tech came into the game with a record of 11-0 this fall.
 
“It was a great game and great intensity with a good win for Taconic,” Thunder coach Jason Keller said.
 
Taconic (5-7-1) goes to Renaissance on Monday.
