Yankey Scores Six Goals as Taconic Tops Hoosac Valley

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Frederick Yankey scored six goals Monday to lead the Taconic boys soccer team to a 9-2 win over Hoosac Valley.

 

Andres Toapanta assisted on two of Yankey’s goals and compiled four assists in the match.

 

Steven Orellano, Samuel Latorre and Jeremiah Cudjoe each scored a goal.

 

Jeremiah Asenso made six saves to earn the win in goal.

 

Taconic (4-7-1) hosts Westfield Tech on Thursday.

 

Hoosac Valley (3-4-2) hosts Commerce on Friday.
