NEW LEBANON, N.Y. – On a day when the Taconic boys soccer team was without several regular contributors and forced to press junior varsity players into service, the Darrow School handed the Thunder a 4-1 setback on Saturday.

The prep school went up, 3-0, in the first half, but Taconic battled after the break, allowing just one more goal and getting a tally from Cole Leab-Miller.

Andres Toapanta set up Leab-Miller for the goal.

John Parsons, regularly the JV keeper, filled in between the pipes.

Taconic (2-3) hosts Renaissance on Monday.
