Wahconah, Taconic Tie 1-1
PITTSFIELD, Mass. — The first half was a battle of defenses as the two teams were scoreless going into halftime. Junior Dominic Nda scored first, unassisted to put Taconic (1-7-3) up 1-0 in the 55th minute. Wahconah (4-4-4) tied it in the 67th minute when Landon Botkin scored.The game stayed that way for the 1-1 tie. Senior Nicholas Tutela had four saves for the Warriors while sophomore Kevin Squires recorded seven save for the Braves.
Wahconah plays next at Lee on Thursday, Oct. 11 and Taconic travels to Drury also on Oct 11. Both teams play at 4 p.m.
