Bautista-Cruz Leads Mount Everett Boys to 2-0 Win

HUNTINGTON, Mass. -- David Bautista-Cruz scored one goal and assisted on another Tuesday to lead the Mount Everett boys soccer team to a 2-0 win over Gateway.

 

Bautista-Cruz set up Jack Carpenter to break a scoreless tie with four minutes left in the first half.

 

In the 72nd minute, Bautista-Cruz added some insurance with an assist from Eduardo Rodriguez.

 

Patrick Silk made three saves to earn the shutout for the Eagles (5-3).

 

Mount Everett hosts Taconic on Thursday.
