Liang Scores Pair in McCann Tech Boys' Win

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Ivan Liang scored a pair of second-half goals Friday to give the McCann Tech boys soccer team a 2-1 win over Commerce.

 

“Great game to watch,” McCann Tech coach Stephen McAllister said. “Commerce came to play. If it wasn’t for our senior goalie [Michael Harris], they could easily have gone up on us, 2-0, in the first half,

 

“The boys came out strong and scored quick in the second.”

 

Justin Chen assisted on Liang’s first goal in the first minute of the second half. Sean Rousseau assisted on Liang’s second goal.

 

McCann Tech (7-2-4) goes to Taconic on Tuesday.
