McCann Tech Boys Battle to Tie With Westfield Tech

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- The short-handed McCann Tech boys soccer team got two goals and an assist from Ivan Liang Friday to earn a 4-4 tie against Westfield Tech.

 

Sean Rousseau and Jack Cooper each had a goal and an assist.

 

"I wasn't super positive going into this game being six players down, including our primary keeper," McCann Tech coach Stephen McAllister said. "The boys played hard and really pulled it together as a team.

 

"The older players supported the younger players throughout the game. Midfielder Carter Foucher made some solid passes. Jesse Brazee played his second full high school game and proved that with more experience, he will be solid in goal."

 

McCann Tech (5-1-4) goes to Putnam on Tuesday.
