Hoosac Valley, McCann Tech Boys Play to Draw

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Hoosac Valley’s Isaac Herrmann scored midway through the second half to erase a McCann Tech lead and send the teams on to a 1-1 tie on Friday afternoon.

 

Carter Foucher had scored early in the second half to put the Hornets up by a goal.

 

“It was a good game overall for McCann,” Hornets coach Stephen McAllister said. “We had seven opportunities in the first half and second in the second.

 

“Our goalkeeper, Michael Harris, made five saves. We had a very strong defensive performance.”

 

McCann Tech (0-0-1) hosts Pioneer Valley Christian School on Monday.

 

Hoosac Valley (1-0-1) is at Gateway on Monday.
