McCann Tech Boys Top Commerce for Fifth Straight

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- Nick LaForest had a goal and an assist, and Michael Harris had nine saves Thursday to lead the McCann Tech boys soccer team to a 5-1 win over Springfield Commerce.

 

Five different Hornets put the ball in the net.

 

Carter Foucher, Connor Griswold, Matt Bailey and Jack Cooper each scored, and Justin Chen had a pair of assists.

 

“At times we weren’t aggressive enough but we were able to capitalize on our chances,” McCann Tech coach John Bresett said. “I’m proud of how well we are playing at the current moment and I know the players are really looking forward to the night game on Friday.”

 

McCann Tech (7-3) takes a five-game winning streak into Friday’s game against Hoosac Valley under the ligths at Renfrew Park in Adams.
