Mohawk Boys Edge McCann Tech

BUCKLAND, Mass. -- The Mohawk Trail boys soccer team scored late in the second half to break a 2-2 tie and send McCann Tech to a 3-2 defeat on Monday.

 

“We missed our chances today and only capitalized on a few chances,” McCann Tech coach John Bresett said. “There goalie played extremely well and is a very good player.”

 

Ivan Liang chipped the keeper off a throw-in into the 18 for the Hornets’ first goal. Michae Harris later tied it by converting out of a scramble in the box.

 

Andrew Levesque mad nine saves for McCann Tech (2-2), which goes back on the road Tuesday to take on Putnam.
