Hoosac Valley Boys Edge McCann Tech

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Evan Norcross and Zach Hubbard each scored to help the Hoosac Valley boys soccer team pull out a 2-1 win over McCann Tech on Friday.

 

“The boys played extremely well today and I am very proud of how they fought the entire game,” McCann Tech coach John Bresett said. “A few mistakes were made but that happens and we have to use that moving forward towards our next match. 

 

“It was a nail-bitter to the end and if we get one or two bounces the score line could change but we can take this moving forward and become a better team.”

 

Carter Foucher scored a goal, and Andrew Levesque made 12 saves for the Hornets.

 

McCann Tech (0-2) hosts Smith Voc on Wednesday.

 

Hoosac Valley (1-2) hosts Wahconah on Wednesday.
