Mount Everett Boys Edge McCann Tech

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Nick Tomich set up both goals for the Mount Everett boys soccer team in a 2-1 win over McCann Tech on Monday afternoon.

 

The Eagles (6-0-1) opened the scoring with a first-half goal by Dan Litchfield and extended their lead afer the break when Brenden Dempsey converted Tomich's second assist.

 

Justin Brassard set up Cody Jordan to cut the lead in half for McCann Tech (2-4-1).

 

Evan Canales and Nico Moreno split time in the Hornets' goal, combining for five saves. Ryan Meyer made four saves in the win for Mount Everett.

 

Mount Everett hosts Drury on Tuesday, while McCann hosts Ware.
