Fuller's Penalty Kick Lifts McCann Boys Soccer

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Shane Fuller converted a first-half penalty kick, and Chris Gajda stopped six shots to make the lead stand up as McCann Tech's boys soccer team beat Smith Voc, 1-0, on Monday.

 

"The first half was a chest match with play going back and forth," McCann Tech coach Tom Bona said. "The second half, McCann took control by playing tough defense and forcing the offense."

 

McCann Tech (5-3) hosts Pathfinder on Wednesday.
