SHEFFIELD, Mass. — Shane Fuller scored twice and added an assist to lead the McCann Tech boys soccer team to a 4-0 win over Mount Everett on Wednesday.

Chris Gajda made 14 saves to earn the shutout as the Hornets won despite being outshot, 14-13.

"Mount Everett played well," McCann coach Tom Bona said. "We didn't have our best game.  Mount Everett outshot us and presured us the whole game.

"Our defense played strong and kept them outside the 18 on most of the shots.  We had a few chances to score, and we finished."

Kevin Dowling got the first goal midway through the first half on a corner kick.

Fuller than scored twice in the last five minutes of the half to give McCann a cushion.

In the closing minute of the game, Evan Lemire stole the ball 30 yards from the goal and took it in to provide the final margin of victory.

McCann (6-0-2) travels to Smith Vocational on Friday.
