McCann Tech Boys Blank Commerce

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- The McCann Tech boys soccer team Tuesday scored two second half goals to earn a 2-0 win over Springfield Commerce.

 

Rocco Cellana broke a scoreless tie when he converted a penalty kick in the 50th minute.

 

Then, with fewer than three minutes remaining, Brennan Vallieres scored an unassisted goal to give the Hornets some breathing room.

 

McCann Tech (6-7-2) goes to Athol on Thursday in the quarter-finals of the Western Massachusetts Class C tournament.
