Sarkis' Hat Trick Lifts Drury Boys in Finale

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Senior Hunter Sarkis had a hat trick to lead the Drury boys soccer team to a 4-1 win over Mohawk Trail in the Blue Devils’ season finale on Wednesday.

 

Sarkis scored in the 10th minute with an assist from Scott McGuire Jr. Thirty seconds later, McGuire scored to double Drury’s lead.

 

Midway through the first half, McGuire again set up Sarkis to give Drury a 3-0 lead at half-time.

 

Mohawk Trail scored early in the second half, but Sarkis completed his hat trick with an assist from Jack DeMayo to provide the final margin of victory.

 

DeMayo and Natal Paredes split time in goal for Drury (4-9-4), combining for five saves.
