Rumbolt, Harpin Score as Drury Boys Win First
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Junior Hunter Harpin scored his first varsity goal five minutes into the second half, and Logan Rumbolt had an insurance goal to lead the Drury boys soccer team to its first win of the season on Friday, 2-0 over Taconic.
Jon Boland had the assist on Rumbolt's goal, which came off a direct kick with 2 minutes, 30 seconds left in the game.
Brian Christian earned his first career shutout with five saves.
Cody Latimer made five stops for Taconic.
Drury (1-10-2) hosts Wahconah on Monday.
Taconic (5-6-2) hosts Wahconah on Tuesday.
