NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – Colin Daly Friday stopped 14 shots Friday to backstop the Drury boys soccer team to a 0-0 tie against McCann Tech.

“This was our first shutout of the year, and [Daly] made several stellar saves, especially late in the game,” Drury coach John Jacobbe said.

Daly also made a diving save in the final seconds of the first half.

Drury’s defense was bolstered by moving Rommel Alvarez from center half to center back, Jacobbe said.

“He had a strong game, helping keep the shutout going along with a strong effort by the entire defense,” Jacobbe said.

Ben Harris made three stops for the Hornets.

McCann Tech (8-2-2) hosts Westfield Tech on Tuesday.

Drury (4-6-3) finishes the regular season at Ware on Tuesday.
