SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Jorge Bond scored four goals Thursday to lead the Drury boys soccer team to a 6-2 win over Renaissance High School.

Matt Howland and Rommel Alvarez each scored a second-half goal for Drury, which was up, 2-1, at half-time.

“We had trouble putting the ball on net in the first half until a great through ball from Romy [Alvarez] to Jorge [Bond],” Drury coach John Jacobbe said. “Great start to second half getting two quick goals and it was nice to get the first win of the year on the road.”

Brayden Canales stepped into the net and made two saves to earn the win for the Blue Devils.

Drury (1-2) hosts Taconic on Wednesday.
