Before Hoosac's October 5th matchup with Wahconah, the Hurricanes were struggling, losing 2 out of their 3 previous games in which they were shut-out in both losses.  Junior Matt Braman manned the quarterback position for his team during the first four games of the season until the team decided to switch things up against Wahconah and move him to running back.  The move worked out as Braman has helped his team to two straight victories, over perennial powerhouse Wahconah two weeks ago and against Pittsfield last Friday.

In Braman's first game as running back against Wahconah he put up a solid 96 yards on 12 carries.  The switch from quarterback also translated to a big defensive effort for Braman as he finished the night with a fumble recovery and a 33-yard interception return for touchdown that sealed Hoosac's victory, 21-8.

Braman's second game at running back was even better as he averaged 10 yards per carry, exploding for 198 yards on 20 carries to go along with two touchdowns.  Braman ripped off a big 57-yard run in the fourth to help the Hurricanes distance themselves enough to get their second consecutive win, 20-6 over Pittsfield.
