McCann Tech Continues Dominant Run
PALMER, Mass. -- Brett Pecor rushed for 127 yards on just 12 carries, and Nick Lincoln threw for 141 yards and a pair of touchdowns to lead the McCann Tech football team to a 45-0 win over Palmer on Friday night.
The Hornets (5-0) posted their second shutout in three weeks and scored 45 points or more for the fourth time in five outings this fall.
But for a fourth-quarter touchdown against McCann's second string defense last week against Ware, McCann would have a shutout streak of 13 quarters going back to the Week 2 win at Mohawk Trail.
Ethan Heller ran for 105 yards against the Panthers (2-3). Levi Lawson ran for 52 yards to go along with 70 receiving yards.
Rahmer Vincent had the other 71 yards in receiving from Lincoln.
The Hornets come home next Saturday to face Franklin (3-1), which hosts Mohawk on Saturday in Turners Falls.
