Scam Purports To Be Drury Sports Fund-Raiser

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- On Sunday afternoon, Drury High School Athletic Director Chris Brbarotta posted the following on the school athletic program's Facebook page:

 

"Please spread the word that there is a scam going around asking for donations to Drury fall sports.Nobody has been authorized to solicit money on behalf of Drury Athletics.If you are contacted please get their information or contact [North Adams Police Department]. Thank you."

 

It is worth noting that there is a legitimate fund-raiser scheduled for Monday to benefit the school's baseball program. That event will be held at Mingo's.
