Recollections & Sympathy For the Family

Ellen Batease played an important role for me living my life as a follower of Jesus Christ. She was a leader in our church as a youth teacher. Years following I prayed that God would allow me to think her for the change that her leadership brought to my life. Forty years later our paths crossed and I was able to reminder her of the value she had in my walk with the Lord. I know I will see her in heaven and for that I too am grateful.

Allison, Connor and I are sending our love and support to you and loved ones. We certainly had some interesting Christmas Day dinners with long cribbage games between Ellen and Les (Our Beloved Tae) while Elaine (Nana) kept track of who was counting cards. May Gram finally rest in peace and shine down us all.

Ellen played such an important role in the first year of our twin girls. She just had so much love in her heart and made raising them that much more fun. She was a wonderful lady and always a joy to see and be with.
