Jason M. Shea, 45

ADAMS, Mass. —  

Jason M. Shea, 45, of Adams, passed suddenly on Friday, January 17, 2025, at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield.

He was born in Pittsfield on June 29, 1979, son of the late Wendy Baker. He attended schools in Pittsfield and graduated from Taconic High School with the class of 1998. Jason was an active member of the local Hardcore, Punk, and Metal music scene as a musician, a fan, and booking and promoting shows with Worthington Presents. Through his mini label JHP Media he both archived the history of Berkshire County Hardcore and helped release music from current bands. This gave him the opportunity meet great friends, many of which had become like family to him.

At the time of his death, Jason was employed by C.R.T. Inc. Cabulance, Pittsfield.

He is survived by his loving wife, Amanda Shea & their beautiful daughter, Rory Shea both of Adams, his brother, Dennis Shea & wife Christen, and two nieces of Pittsfield.

At the families request funeral services will be private and there will be no calling hours at this time.

Memorial donations may be made to Amanda Shea for an education fund for Rory, through the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams, MA 01220.

We hadn’t spoken in sometime, brother, but I would always be happy when our paths crossed. You opened my mind to the endless world of music when I was young. It was one of the best gifts I’ve ever been given. I’ll always remember you for that brother.
