When I retired to the Berkshires and was looking for a squash opponent, I was fortunate to meet Bob. For many years we enjoyed playing squash and even after he was no longer able to play, we had fun getting together. Such a friendly man ... and such a sense of humor. Only wish that I could remember some of his classic jokes! It was both privilege and pleasure to know Bob.

I met Bob as a neighbor when I thought he was someone else. I waved, he stopped the car and said "do I know you??". Ever after, he was a dear friend to our family in South Williamstown. I will always have fond memories of Bob and Pat...thinking of you all at this time of loss.

Bob was for many years a regular at the “Old Guys” table at Tunnel City Coffee Shop and always much appreciated for his warm wit and quick rejoinder. A special guy much missed since moving to Maine. Condolences to Pat and family.
