Paul was a terrific neighbor and made our childhood special. We loved all the dinners, pool dates and sleepovers we spent at your house. I didn’t appreciate it at the time, but his annual garden was a masterpiece! I have grown rhubarb due to his lesson that it is a great treat chopped into little pieces and dipped in sugar or salt. He was such a kind and sweet person and I’m sorry to hear about his struggles. He will be missed.

We have known Paul since high school then again as he and I were members of the Clarksburg Volunteer Fire Vompany. Later we enjoyed his company at our high school luncheons. So sorry for your loss but hang on to the many fond memories you all have.
May he rest in peace.

Poppy Paul,
I will never forget the cutest little kiss you gave me on my cheek every time you saw me. You were the sweetest man I ever did know. We made so many wonderful memories together that will forever hold a special place in my heart. Like sky diving, and our ice cream trips and lunch dates. You lit up every room you walked into and gave out the sweetest of hugs with your tiny little arms. You always made me feel so special. Dementia took you away from me and I am absolutely heart broken, but I know you’re in a better place and no longer suffering. To the best grandfather I ever could have asked for: Until we meet again, Fly high angel, I’ll see you on the other side!!!

Dear Paul, Jen, Josh, Hannah, Brandon & Family, Andy & Family and Timmy - I am so sorry about the loss of your dad and Poppy Paul. He was a one-of-a-kind sweet man who loved you all and everyone he met. Likewise. Everyone loved him as well. He was always giving and never expecting anything in return. He will be in my heart until I, too, leave this earth. Thank you for all you did to support us through his dementia. Remember the good times and that he is now in a better place. I'll miss him and Cali every day.

I am so sorry about the loss of your dad and Poppy Paul. He was a one-of-a-kind father, grandfather, great grandfather and my very best friend. Though this time is so difficult for all of us, we have to remember the good times and memories and know that he is at peace and no longer in the pain of dementia and not wondering why he was struggling. I'll never forget him and he will be in my heart until I too leave this place. He made friends no matter where he went and everyone loved him for the kind person he was. I share in your sadness and loss.
