Edmond F. Pasternak, 87
ADAMS, Mass. —
Mr. Edmond F. “Moe” Pasternak, 87, of Adams, died Thursday morning, January 9, 2025 at Hillcrest Commons in Pittsfield.
He was born in Adams on September 10, 1937, a son of the late Frank and Helen (Stefanik) Pasternak, and attended Adams schools, graduating from the former Adams High School with the class of 1959.
He served with the US Army at Fort Sill in Oklahoma in the 2nd Howitzer Battalion, 17th Artillery, 4th Army from 1960 until his Honorable Discharge in 1962.
Edmond worked at the former Adams Supermarket, then at the former W.R. Grace Co. in Adams until his retirement.
He was a communicant of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Adams.
He is survived by his sister, Virginia Pasternak of Adams; his twin brother, Edward Pasternak and his wife, Sandra, of Adams; and two nephews, Robert Pasternak of Weymouth, MA and Steven Pasternak, and his wife Laura, a grandniece Ellen Pasternak and two grandnephews Liam and Kyle Pasternak of Statham, GA. He was predeceased by a sister, Adella Deschenes of Santa Ana, CA. He also leaves many cousins.
