Richard B. Knights, 68
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Mr. Richard Brian Knights, 68, of North Adams, died on Friday, Oct. 11, 2024, at North Adams Commons surrounded by his family.
He was born in North Adams on July 13, 1956, a son of the late Rev. Milford and Bernice (Rowell) Knights. He attended schools in North Adams and graduated from Drury High School.
Mr. Knights last worked as a manager for CRT Cabulance until his retirement. Earlier he had been the manager of the former Berkshire Rent A Wreck.
He is survived by his wife, the former Sally Jo Libby, whom he married on April 21, 1984; two daughters, Robyn Knights and Rebecca Martin and her husband Brad; his brother, the Rev. Harry Knights; his sister, Arlene Mabe; two grandchildren, Liza and Bentley and by many nieces and nephews.
FUNERAL NOTICE: A memorial service officiated by Rick's brother will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 16, at noon from PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams. A celebration of Rick's life will follow at the Florida Senior Center on the Mohawk Trail.
Calling hours are Wednesday morning from 10 until the time of the service at the funeral home.
