Jean Vincent, 68

ADAMS, Mass. —

Jean Vincent (Bethany Lawrence), 68, of Adams, died on Monday, September 30, 2024, after a brief illness surrounded by her family that loved her.

She was born in Great Barrington on June 29, 1956, a daughter of the late Harold and Thelma (Clark) Reynolds.

Jean worked as a manager for various local restaurants, including McDonalds and Burger King until retiring. Her favorite and most important job was caring for two of her grandchildren. You could find Jean sitting side lines at her grandchildren’s sporting events, sitting proudly at school functions or sitting outside with her late husband. Her favorite pastime was taking long car rides with her husband and grandchildren looking at Christmas lights. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Her husband, Gordon F. Vincent, Jr., whom she married on February 6, 2010, died on November 27, 2023.

She is survived by her stepson, Jeff Vincent and his wife Susan of Adams; four stepdaughters, Kristy Meczywor and her husband Michael of Adams, Mae Valois and her husband George of Tecumseh, OK, Anna Kulas of Dalton and Megan Middlebrook and her husband Colin of Adams; fifteen grandchildren, including, Amanda, Jake, Justin, Ashlee, Spencer, Monte, Rahmer, Gabrielle, Arianna, Tyler, Logan, Sawyer, Renley, Aiden and Molly; her sister, Susan Klein of Canton, GA; two brothers, Harold Reynolds, Jr and Bruce Reynolds, both of Lee and by many nieces and nephews.

Per Jean’s request, there are no funeral services or calling hours. A Celebration of Life will be held by the family at a later date.

Memorial donations may be made to the Adams, Cheshire, Savoy Youth Soccer Association, through the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams, which is in charge of arrangements.
