Keith R. Hartman,77

Keith Robert Hartman, 77 of North Adams died on Friday, August 30, 2024 at Berkshire Medical Center. He was born in Middleton, CT on July 26, 1947 a son of the late William Hartman & Edith (Walden) Langevin. Keith attended St. Joseph’s Parochial School and graduated from Drury High School and then attended Truck Driving School.

Keith was a decorated Veteran of the Vietnam War, serving with the US Navy on USS Boxer. Keith was a long-haul truck driver for many years. He then established Paladine Livery in North Adams. Keith enjoyed collecting firearms and target shooting. He also and enjoyed collecting and watching movies. He was an avid Red Sox & Patriots fan. He was a member of the Berkshire Lodge of Masons and loved spending time with his family and visiting with friends.

Keith was predeceased by his wife, Linda Rita (Thibert) Hartman who died on September 3, 2023. They were married on April 28, 2001. Keith leaves his children, Thomas Hartman (Sandy) of Adams, Massachusetts, Heath Hartman  (Kristen) of Maryesther, Florida, and Nicole Hartman Sherwood of Palmer, Alaska. He also leaves a sister Eileen Hartman Brassard of North Adams, Massachusetts, brother Richard Langevin,  several stepchildren, grandchildren and nieces and nephews including Carol Granger whom he had a special relationship with. He was predeceased by his son, Keith Hartman and brothers, Daniel Hartman and William Hartman.

FUNERAL NOTICE: A funeral to celebrate the life of Keith Hartman will be on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Flynn & Dagnoli – WEST CHAPEL 521 West Main St. North Adams, MA. Calling hours will be Thursday from 9:30-11:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial with military honors will follow at Eastlawn Cemetery in Williamstown, MA.
