Monica Anne Lora, 70

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Monica Anne Lora, of Manchester, NH passed away on Aug. 8, 2024 in Manchester surrounded by family.

Known for her kind and thoughtful nature, Monica was a devoted wife and loving mother. She was born on Aug. 2, 1954 in North Adams, Mass. to the late Ernest and Frances (Cirrullo) Rondeau and would go on to marry her best friend Silvio Lora and raise three children together, Pamela, Nicole, and Michael.

Monica and Silvio lived the majority of their lives in North Adams where they were regulars at their favorite restaurants and would spend the weekend traveling around the area. They enjoyed exploring and traveling together. One of Monica's favorite places to visit was the ocean. She loved sitting on the beach and enjoyed eating fried whole belly clams. Monica was an avid reader and especially enjoyed murder mysteries. At night you would find her curled up with a book while Silvio watched tv, silently enjoying being with each other. She loved to crochet and created beautiful pieces for her family. She also loved plants and to garden, every room in the house had at least one plant, usually more.

She was a loving mother who was supportive of her children's dreams. While she loved being a mother, one of her greatest joys was being a grandmother. She loved spending time and playing with her beloved grandson Oliver.
