James D. Tarjick, Sr., 71
WINDSOR, Mass. — James David Tarjick, Sr., 71 of Windsor, MA, passed away August 11, 2024 at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Pittsfield on February 1, 1953, he was the son of the late Raymond M. Tarjick, Sr., and Mary Joan Scanlon Tarjick.
He married the former Nancy Eulian on August 4, 1972.
Mr. Tarjick owned and operated Sentry Security. A communicant of St. Charles Church, he enjoyed landscaping and puttering around on his tractor.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Nancy Tarjick of Windsor, MA. Their children, Rene Moore and husband Richard of Pittsfield, James Tarjick, Jr., of Becket, David Tarjick and wife Melissa of Cheshire, and Aaron Tarjick of Gardner, MA. He also leaves his siblings, Diane Nopper of Hinsdale, Raymond Tarjick, Jr., of Becket and Thomas Tarjick of Pittsfield. As well as twenty-one grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral home services will be held, Saturday, August 17, 2024 at 2:30 p.m. at Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford St, PITTSFIELD. Calling hours will precede the service from 1 p.m.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made payable to the Windsor Fire Department and mailed to Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford St, Pittsfield, MA 01201.
