Dear Mary and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Mothers are special in so many ways and their unconditional love is ever present. Going to your house while growing up holds fond memories for me as your mother was always so welcoming. Cherish your memories and hold them close within your hearts.

Dearest Laura- May your happy memories with your Mom bring you comfort. Your Mom was a spitfire, raising all of you! And she showed kindness to me and acceptance when I was a crazy teen. I still remember her delicious polenta and her letting me sleep over often. (As if she didn't have enough children!) My sincere sympathy to you and your family.

So very sorry for the families loss. Had great memories with her as a young kid. She’d employ us neighborhood kids to help around the house and pay us in 2 dollar bills, advising us to put them away for safe keeping, they might be worth something one day! Not to mentioned the baked goods! A wonderful cook and baker. Rest in peace
