Anthony Pedercini, 89

Anthony G. Pedercini, of North Adams, died Monday August 5, 2024, at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield. He was born in North Adams on August 25, 1934, son of the late Dominic and Celia (Hamelin) Pedercini. He was predeceased by his wife, Judith M. Pedercini (2014) whom he married August 12, 1961, as well as his sister, Dolores Waterhouse (2018) and brother Robert Pedercini (2023).

He is survived by his two sisters, Anita Flowers and Geraldine Pedercini, two daughters; Kimberly Sacco and her partner James Murphy and Deborah Pedercini; five grandchildren, Matthew Sacco, Stephanie Sacco and her fiancé, Adam Killeen, Nicholas Leveque and his wife Sierra, Morgan Leveque and her partner Jackson Gifford, and Tessa Leveque. He also leaves behind three beautiful great-grandchildren, Logan, Emery and Walker Leveque.

Anthony, “Tony”, was the owner of Anthony G. Pedercini, Painting and Decorating, where he was very well known for his meticulous work on the most beautiful homes in the Berkshires. He loved the stock car races and was a fixture at Lebanon Valley Speedway, where you would find him every Saturday night. Tony’s love of antique cars led him to travel to many car shows where he made many friends over the years and would spend hours talking about cars and reminiscing about old demolition derby stories.

Tony had a passion for growing vegetables and always took great pride in his labor of love for gardening. He would often be found in late summer or fall at the American Legion selling vegetables.

The family would like to thank the excellent care he received by the staff at the Berkshire Medical Center. Their compassionate care was greatly appreciated.

There are no calling hours at this time, a private service will be in the fall.

Donations in Anthony Pedercini’ s memory can be made to the American Legion, Post 125, North Adams. To add to the Book of Memories, please visit flynndagnolifuneralhomes.com.

Dear Debbie, Nick, Morgan, Tessa, & Kim,

We are sad to hear of Tony's passing. He had a sharp recollection of the history of the Walnut St area. He told me about my Grandparents & Dad when he was growing up. Your family are in our prayers at this very difficult time.

Sincerely,
Karl & Barb Schmidt

Blessings to Tony's Family ~
Tony was nice and interesting to talk to. I only knew him from when he was out at the Legion selling his vegetables and flowers. I worked next door and would watch for him. Really appreciated his being there, and talking with him. Heard some stories and learned about veggies all in one! His presence has been missed. On days I notice his absence, I shall send prayers to the Universe...
