Douglas Hawley, 40

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. —  

Douglas A. Hawley, 40, of North Adams, died on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, in North Adams.

He was born in Chester, MA on November 13, 1983, a son of Frances (Foss) Fachini and the late Douglas Hawley. He attended schools in North Adams and graduated from Drury High School.

At the time of his death, Douglas was working as a self-employed landscaper.

Besides his mother Frances and her husband Anthony of Chester, he is survived by his two children, Alexander Gabriel Hawley and Lotus Rain Hawley, both of North Adams; his brother Daniel Hawley and his wife Dianne of North Adams; his half-brother, Jesse Currier of Adams and his half-sister, Cristy Briggs of North Adams as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his father and by his half-brother, James Currier.

Calling hours are Wednesday from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. at the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams, followed by a celebration of life at the Greylock Club, 548 State Rd., North Adams from 6:30 P.M. to 8:30 P.M.

Memorial donations may be made to Frances Fachini for an education fund for Douglas’ children through the funeral home.
