Stefanie Tiele, 83

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. —  Stefanie Maria Tiele, 83 of Williamstown, MA died Thursday August 1, 2024 at Williamstown Commons.

She was born in Rosenheim, Germany on May 1, 1941, a daughter of Stefan Tiele and Maria (Voitl) Tiele Taberne. She attended schools in Philadelphia, PA.

Stefanie was a longtime resident of Belchertown where she worked as a hostess at The Town House in Belchertown, MA for many years. She was a communicant of St. Francis Church in Belchertown. She loved playing Bingo and loved her pets.

She moved to Hinsdale after her retirement and lived with her son, whom she leaves behind, Erik E. Tiele of North Adams, MA. She also leaves two nephews of Williamstown, NJ. She was predeceased by her brother, Gunther Taberne and her sister Yolande, who died in infancy.
