Eileen Hempstead, 88
North Greenbush, NY - Eileen Hempstead, 88, of Eastwyck Circle passed away at her residence on Sunday, July 21, 2024.
In recent years, her sight was taken away from her, but she never complained. She was always positive and continued to enjoy her independence.
She is survived by her son, Kevin [Marilyn Gomeau] Hempstead of North Adams; her grandson, Jeremy Hempstead; her nephew, Brian Hempstead; and niece Lynn Reickert.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit Eileen’s family on Friday, July 26th, from 4:00-7:00 p.m., at the Castleton Funeral Home, 59 Seaman Ave. Castleton, NY 12033. A Memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, July 27th,
At 10:00 a.m., at the funeral home. Eileen’s remains will be inurned in Horizon Cemetery immediately following the memorial service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Eileen’s memory to the Clarksburg Volunteer Fire Company, 181 Cross Rd, Clarksburg, MA 01247.
