NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Edstar James Terrel Trotter, 32 of North Adams, MA died on Tuesday July 2, 2024 at Berkshire Medical Center, North Adams.

He was born in Cambridge, MA on February 19, 1992, a son of Eddy Boussiquot and Jessica Wayne Trotter. He graduated from Drury High School and took classes at MCLA.

Edstar was last employed as a security guard at General Dynamics. He enjoyed music, cooking and playing basketball.

Survivors include his wife, Jodi Elizabeth (Gyurasz) Trotter whom he married on June 5, 2021 and one daughter, Eva Rose Grace Maelynn Trotter and one son, Myles Bernard Derek Logan Trotter. He also leaves his father, Eddy Boussiquot of Boston and his mother, Jessica Trotter of North Adams; two brothers, Christian Trotter and Malcolm Trotter and two sisters, Abigail Goodhind and Emily Goodhind and his maternal grandmother, Cynthia Louise Trotter.

We were lucky to have had a chance to know Eddie when he was a student in our class at Williamstown Elementary. He had the heart of a poet, a smile that lit up any room, and deep love for his brother and the world around him. Fiercely intelligent, he made a mark on the world in his short time here. We are all better for having known him. We are so sorry for your loss.
