Casey J. Goewey

CLARKSBURG, Mass. —  Casey Joseph Goewey, 51 of Clarksburg, MA died Thursday June 6, 2024 at his home.

He was born in Great Barrington, MA on November 22, 1972. His adopted parents were Bruce William and Jane Louise (Wolf) Goewey Sr, now deceased.

Adopted siblings were Bruce Goewey Jr., Mary Brazie (Ronald) and Deborah Goewey-Rood. They also adopted two other children: Michael Goewey (deceased) and Bernie Goewey. Various foster brothers include Barry Finger Jr. and James Wilkins. Several nieces and nephews include Ronnie, Colleen, Nolan and Jenna. Casey attended Southern Berkshire Regional School District and attended Mt, Everett High School until 1990. Casey lived with a roommate, Joe Delisle, for many years.

Casey attended BFAIR Day Habilitation Program.

Casey was one of the most popular and beloved individuals in all of BFAIR. His warm smile, gentle nature and sociability made everyone whom he came in contact with feel special and appreciated. People who had known Casey from years past would often ask about him and fondly reminisce about him. He had a special way of brightening up a room whenever he was around.

FUNERAL NOTICE: The funeral for Casey Goewey will be Friday June 14, 2024 at 11:00 AM at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS WEST CHAPEL, 521 West Main St. North Adams, MA.
