Mary Agnes Beverly

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. —  Mary Agnes (Bettis) Beverly, 82 of Williamstown and Barefoot Bay, FL died Wednesday, May 22, 2024.

She was born in Great Barrington, MA. on April 25, 1942 a daughter of the late Donald and Angeline (Denelli) Bettis. Mary graduated from Drury High School with the class of 1959. During her working career she was employed at Sprague Electric, Anken Chemical and Photech in Williamstown, MA.

Mary enjoyed bowling, darts, and loved to play cards. She was also a seasonal camper in Petersburg, NY for 47 years. Many late-night card games were had and especially loved the big family get-togethers and memory-making with her children and her grandchildren.

Her husband, Harry Louis Beverly, Sr., whom she married April 14, 1961 died December 31, 2019. Survivors include her loving children, daughters Angela Phienboupha (Phonh), Anne Beverly, Danielle Orr (Scott) and her two sons Harry Beverly, Jr. (Joan) and Joseph Beverly (Laura).  She also leaves 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, brothers Joseph Bettis, Donald Bettis, Jr. and sister Donna Wondoloski. She was predeceased by a sister JoAnne Upton and brother Donald Bettis who died in infancy.

Funeral Services for Mary Beverly will be celebrated on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. at the Flynn & Dagnoli Funeral Home, WEST CHAPELS, 521 West Main St., North Adams, MA. Burial will follow in the family plot in Southview Cemetery. Calling Hours at the funeral home are Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Memorial donations are suggested for St. Jude Children’s Hospital through the funeral home. To the Beverly Family, My Sincerest Sympathy's go out to all of you. I thought the world of Mary, she was an absolute sweetheart. I was Always at the family house on Fredrick St and Williamstown, when Don and I were good friends. I became a good friend with Mary and Harry and their parents, they always went out of there way to make me feel at home. I’m so sorry for your loss, my heart and prayers are with all of you.
