Daniel N. Fogarty, 79

FLORIDA, Mass. —  Daniel Nagle Fogarty, 79 of Florida, MA died on April 25, 2024 at Berkshire Medical Center. He was born in Westfield, MA on October 23, 1944 a son of the late Daniel & Mary Agnes (Nagle) Fogarty.

Daniel was an electrical engineer for Yankee atomic plant for many years. He was a decorated veteran of the Vietnam War serving as a sergeant with the United States Air Force.

Daniel was an avid Nascar Fan, Red Sox Fan and enjoyed boating, photography, and spending time with his friends. He was a member at the Charter Support Force Veterans of Overseas Post # 19, Readsboro Lions Club, VFW, American Legion, Am Vets Life Member, and a lifetime member at the Greylock Community Club.

Daniel was predeceased by his beloved wife, Colleen Francis (Crosier) Fogarty who died on December 1, 2018. They were married on December 20, 2008.

Survivors include his friends, Rebecca & Jeremy Dodge, Kevin and Judi Dodge, Michael Gleason, Betty Jo Rivers and all his friends at the Greylock Community Club.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Graveside services for Daniel will be on Thursday, May 2, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Southview Cemetery. Donations may be made in his memory to the Flynn & Dagnoli Funeral Home, 74 Marshall St. North Adams, MA 01247.

Cousin Dan was an only child but had a big extended family living across the country. He and Midge attended family reunions and proudly showed off his town to visiting relatives. Dan was a consummate New Englander and will be missed. Rest in peace Cousin.
