Recollections & Sympathy For the Family

To all members of Glenda's family we extend condolences. Glenda was an active person with many interests. Our paths crossed when we moved to this area and needed a baby-sitter for our three children. Glenda proved to be very capable on that score and in many more ways. She became a friend forever. We enjoyed her art and her music and the opportunities to provide books for people in Africa. She worked with us as a banquet waitress from time to time as needed. What a pleasant and interesting person and we have a lot of good memories to draw on for the future.

Dear Margie and Daryl, I am so very sorry for the huge loss of your sister. My heart goes out to you. I met Glenda in 6th grade. We were friends in high school and beyond. More recently we re-connected and shared some fun times and long talks. Glenda was a special friend: kind, funny, adventurous, talented, compassionate, thoughtful, and generous. I will miss her dearly. I'm sorry I was unable to attend her service. I hope she is resting peacefully.
