Marcia S. LeMay, 82

ADAMS, Mass. —  

Mrs. Marcia S. (Morse) LeMay, 82, formerly of Adams, passed away peacefully on Tuesday evening, April 2, 2024. She was born in North Adams on February 20, 1942, a daughter of the late Linwood and Frances (Lambert) Morse, and attended North Adams schools, graduating from Drury High School.

Marcia last worked as a sales representative in the appliance department at the former Sears Roebuck department stores in Pittsfield and North Adams until retiring. Earlier, she had worked at the former Sprague Electric Co, in North Adams for many years. She had also lived in both Arizona and Georgia for several years until returning to this area.

Marcia enjoyed bowling and golfing in her spare time.

Her husband, Robert E. LeMay, whom she married on May 28, 1960, died on April 17, 1999.

She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Stevens and her husband, Lawrence, of Cumming, GA; three grandchildren, including Jason Pare and his wife Julie, Paul St. Pierre, Jr. and his partner, Mindy, and Timothy St. Pierre and his wife Cat; four great grandchildren including Jaycub Pare, Lucas Pare, Lyla Pare and Derek St. Pierre; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings Clifford Morse, Linwood Morse Jr., George Morse, Frances Sprague and Shirley Adams.
