Carl D. Moon, Jr, 64

Carl D. Moon, Jr, 64, of Conway, SC, formally of North Adams, Mass, passed away on March 19, 2024.  Carl was born on October 27, 1959, son of Beatrice (Ellsworth) Moon and Carl Moon, Sr.

 In his earlier years, Carl worked in various mills before becoming a contracted roofer. Carl was hard working and devoted to his roofing career. He took much pride in his work, and could be seen on rooftops across Berkshire County, until being forced into retirement with health issues.  

 Carl enjoyed watching wrestling, Nascar and monster trucks. He enjoyed watching classic shows such as "The Honeymooners" and "Bonanza." He was unique and always had a way to make people laugh. Carl loved his family deeply and made sure no one went without. He loved family gatherings and Sunday dinners when everyone was together. He was a huge part of his family's lives, and will be forever remembered and missed. 

 Carl was predeceased by his mother Beatrice Moon, father Carl Moon, Sr, daughter Sara Beth Anna Geisler, brother Jeffrey Moon, Sr and niece Jennifer Lefebvre. He is survived by his sisters, Cheryl (Alan) Leavitt and Tammy (Randy) Poirot, sons Jason Bishop and Joseph Castagnaro, granddaughter Abigail Swan, nieces, nephews, cousins and aunts. 

 There are no calling hours.  A private burial will take place in the family plot at a later date.
