Bruce J. Raimer, Jr., 53

ADAMS, Mass. —  

Mr. Bruce Joseph Raimer, Jr., 53, of Adams, died Tuesday evening, March 12, 2024 at Albany (NY) Medical Center.

He was born in North Adams on October 22, 1970, son of the late Bruce J. Raimer, Sr. and Joan M. (Gwozdz) Raimer. He attended Adams schools, and graduated from C.H. McCann Technical High School, North Adams, in 1989.

For the past 29 years, Bruce worked as a filler operator for Pepsi Bottling Co., first in Pittsfield, and later in Latham, NY. Earlier, he had worked for Mullen Moving Co. and Berkshire Custom Coatings.

He was a communicant of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Adams, and was a former member of the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed fishing and operating remote control vehicles.

He is survived by his wife, the former Dawn M. Roberts, whom he married on June 25, 1994; his daughter, Jenna Raimer, of Adams; two sisters, Christine Haring and Sharon Michalenko and her husband Michael, both of Adams; his father- and mother-in-law, Richard and Diane Roberts of North Adams, and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday, March 20th, at 9:00 AM from the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St. Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Adams. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Adams. Calling hours are Tuesday from 5 to 7 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Berkshire Humane Society, 214 Barker Rd. Pittsfield, MA 01201.
