Brittany LaBombard, 37
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Brittany Rae LaBombard, 37, of North Adams died on Saturday, August 26, 2023 as a victim of domestic violence.
She was born in North Adams on November 22, 1985, a daughter of Ray LaBombard and Karen (Casuscelli) LaBombard.
Brittany attended North Adams public schools. She worked as a private care attendant most of her life and was deeply loved by all she served. Brittany was an avid sports enthusiast and thoroughly loved coaching her son Maurice to basketball championships in Nebraska.
Brittany was noted for her infectious laugh, strength, and positive outlook on life. She was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend - to know Brittany was to love her.
Survivors include Brittany’s son, Maurice Raymond Alexander, who was the love of her life. She leaves behind her loving parents, Ray LaBombard and Karen (Casuscelli) LaBombard of North Adams, her sisters Jessica Johnson (Jeff) of Williamstown, Nicole Abair (Nick) of Texas, Stephanie Howland (Justin) of North Adams, her brother RJ LaBombard (Maria) of North Adams, her sister-in-law Amber Alexander, niece Alivia who was like a daughter to Brittany, and nephew Alijah all with whom she resided with in Nebraska. Brittany also is survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and her extended basketball family in Nebraska.
Brittany was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Donald and Shirley LaBombard, her maternal grandparents, Louis Casuscelli and Elizabeth Crosier, her uncle John Casuscelli and cousin Misty Casuscelli.
FUNERAL NOTICE: A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Brittany LaBombard will be celebrated Friday September 8, 2023 at 12 Noon at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church. Burial will be private.
