Richard M. Carrigan, 79

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. —  Mr. Richard M. Carrigan, 79, of North Adams, passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2023, peacefully at home with his wife by his side.

He was born in Pittsfield on June 13, 1943, a son of the late William and Evelyn (Campbell) Carrigan. He attended schools in Pittsfield and graduated from the former St. Joseph’s High School. He then went on to earn his associate degree in business from Berkshire Community College. He was a member of the Massachusetts Army National Guard.

Mr. Carrigan, "Dick" along with his wife Joan, owned and operated the former Corner Lunch in Adams for 42 years until retiring and closing the restaurant on June 26, 2022.
