Shaun F. Tassone, 67

ADAMS, Mass. — Mr. Shaun F. Tassone, 67, of Adams, died on Monday evening, May 1, 2023. He was born in North Adams on August 29, 1955, a son of the late Angelo and Winifred (Edwards) Tassone and attended Adams schools. He had worked as a self-employed carpenter and contractor for many years.

His wife, the former Donna M. Wandrei, whom he married on June 3, 1983, died on June 9, 2014.

He is survived by his son, Aaron Tassone of Adams; his daughter, Angela Tassone (Raymond Briggs, Jr.) of Adams; eight grandchildren, including Jordan Tassone, Krysta Tassone, Brittani Tassone, Brianna Tassone,

Sierra Tassone, Samara Briggs, Ethan Briggs and Kinsley Tassone; two great grandchildren, Nolan and Caiden; three brothers, Wayne Tassone, Dennis Tassone and Brian Tassone; a foster brother, Samuel McClendon; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Wayne Tassone, and by a sister, Joanne Trimarchi.

The Tassone Family, Being a life long resident of Adams, I had many conversations with Shaun. As we age, the realization that life is fragile comes to mind more often. We must cope with situations in a manner that sustains life. My dealings with Shaun were mostly centered on past encounters. Not long ago, Shaun asked me for a ride because he was in failing health He spoke to me candidly, informing me that is time on earth was limited. I felt and saw his anguish as he spoke. Shaun was kind. He pursued his path going down many different roads. May your eternal rest be be found on the road leading to Heaven's gate !
