Franklin A. Wiles, 78

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. —  Franklin Albert Wiles, 78 of Pittsfield, MA died on Sunday April 30, 2023 at North Adams Commons.

He was born in North Adams, MA on November 27, 1944, a son of George Tevelyn Wiles and Lillian M. (Rondeau) Wiles. He graduated from Mt. Greylock Regional High School.

Franklin was a veteran of the Vietnam War and served in the US Navy from 1964 to 1968. He was employed by Dominoes Pizza in North Adams for over 20 years. Franklin attended the Williamstown Baptist Church.

He enjoyed magic, playing cards, puzzles, bowling and building models.

Survivors include one brother- William T. Wiles of Malden, NJ and three sisters- Joann L. Gaffey and Georgia M. Rand, both of North Adams and Jacqueline Mason of Pownal, VT. He also leaves many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and three great great grandnieces and nephews.

FUNERAL NOTICE: The funeral for Franklin Wiles will be Monday May 8, 2023 at 11:00 AM at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS WEST CHAPELS, 521 West Main St. North Adams, MA. Burial will follow in Eastlawn cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home are Monday morning from 9-11 AM. Memorial donations may be made to Soldier On in care of the funeral home.
