Kathleen Angeli Stewart, 66

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. —  Kathleen Mary (Angeli) Stewart, 66 of Charlotte, North Carolina died on April 8, 2023 at Atrium Health Union in Monroe, NC surrounded by her loving sister and brother in law. She was born in North Adams, on September 24, 1956 a daughter of the late Mario “Mac” Angeli and Mary Patricia (Connally) Angeli.

Kathy was a proud member of the last graduating class from St. Joseph’s Parochial High School in North Adams in 1974. Kathy then graduated from Our Lady of the Elms College in 1978. After graduation, she then moved to Charlotte, NC and was employed by the Gastonia School System as a Speech Therapist. She was later employed by Goodwill Industries for over 35 years as an Executive Administrative Assistant to the President. She was a long-time member of the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) where she served numerous leadership positions including past president of the Charlotte Chapter.

Kathy loved to travel and the beach was her happy place. She liked to shop, enjoyed cooking and most of all enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include Jean and Keith Noel of Pownal, VT; Aunt Kathleen Jerome of Pittsfield and Godchild Megan Shea of Holyoke as well as many cousins and many good friends both in the Charlotte area and the Northeast.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for Kathy will be Monday April 24, 2023 at 11:00 AM at the Flynn & Dagnoli Funeral Home, WEST CHAPELS, 521 West Main St. North Adams, MA. Burial will be private. A calling hour at the funeral home will be held Monday morning from 10-11 AM. Memorial donations are suggested for Anna's Pals in care of the funeral home.
